META state for Multilingual Europe Technology Alliance. The META-forum is an international conference on language and speech technology for the multilingual European information society.

What language technologies has the multilingual Europe in 2020 necessary? Where are we today? What is the strategy and what concrete plans exist for research and innovation in the field of language engineering in Europe, in the member states and the regions? How can the exchange of 'raw materials' (data and tools) better organise with the view to a European, single, multilingual information space? These are the central questions in this conference.
